About Me:

I am a ER Nurse and also work for a group of Orthopedics as their surgical nurse. I grew up competing horses and after I hurt my back 3 yrs ago and I got my Doodle Quincy I started doing obedience and agility work with her . I am currently on a leave of absence from my ER position so I can take care of my 96 yr old Grand mother who I moved in with me 1 year ago so I can care for her. I have 4 daughters

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

I have 1 goldendoodle and my older daughter has her older brother Tucker. She got hers while she was going into her sophomore year at Auburn- she is now in her 2nd yr of Med school. we still have 3 horse and 3 other labs that we bred ourselves. I got Quincy ,my female , after i had to put my sweet yellow lab to sleep due to cancer.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

my daughter picked a doodle since she was in an apartment at college and she did a lot of research on dogs and loved the Doods. I fell in love with Tucker - how could you not- and after I put my Lab to sleep she contacted the breeder she got her Tucker from and found out they had a litter ready soon and had 3 available pups! Love my doodles and their kindness and smartness and attitude! so sweet and protective with my 9yr old and very gentle with my grandmother, I will eventually like to use her as a therapy dog when things get a little easier her.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

i loved training her in obedience and agility but had to stop agility due to he having a mild hip dysplasia. Broke my heart that she was hurting but she did love it so very much/ I will start training her as a therapy dog soon. other than that we love throwing her ball most of all !

Does your doodle(s) shed?

A little bit but nothing major

Who grooms your doodle(s)?

i do her grooming and clipping

Favorite Doodle Products?

i use a natural based soap product and conditioner on her coat and show sheen ( for horses) to help keep her from matting. I like a longer coat on her.Tucker mats much quicker and has a thicker curlier coat so he stays clipped short
