Hi Brandi! Danni is doing great & we couldn't be more in love w/ this little girl. She finished all her shots 2 weeks ago so we've been trying to take her out on walks. Our problem is that she is VERY shy & timid when she is approached by anyone other than our immediate family - even by visitors who come to our house regularly. She doesn't act strange w/ us and she's never had a bad scare or been hurt since she's been with us. The vet recommends a "Behavioral Therapist". Any ideas? Should I just try regular obedience classes first? Will that help w/ this issue? Thanks again for any/all advice :)
Brandi - nipples are pretty swollen but still no poochy belly. That was pretty much what she did last time as I recall. I'm assuming you still want me to proceed with the ultrasound on the 14th?
Hi Brandi! I am behind in welcoming our new members but want to let you know I'm thrilled you've joined us! I really like what I've heard about your program. Last time I was in Roseville I met up with Barb (of Bear River Labradoodles) and she had nothing but great things to say of you. Thanks for inviting your puppy families!
Thank you for the ideas, Brandi. She does seem to get very sidetracked outside so I'll try to limit her to a smaller area and the crate idea is great!
It took a few days of fussing but she seems to be liking her crate now. She won't got in it on her own but she doesn't fuss anymore when she gets put in it and she doesn't always run out when we open the door.
Thanks for the advice. I'll keep you posted on how it goes :)
Hi Brandi, since this is a dog-forum, thought I'd ask - any suggestions for potty training? We've been doing really well w/ "pee pee" outside (my timing, not hers) but she seems to prefer to go "poopy" on my carpet rather than outside! I even know her body clock & when she needs to go, but she'll hold it the entire time we're outside & then use the carpet. She's been outside w/ me and then come inside JUST to go poopy on my carpet & then head back outside! Any ideas? Thanks!
Thank you for the invite! All of my neighbors love our doodle so I suspect we'll be seeing a lot more here in Fremont. Please let me know the next time you have a bay area doodle romp; I'd love to meet the rest of the family. Have a great weekend - Bob
Thank you Brandi!! I will and she is working on her profile! So cute, she is so excited! We will be taking pictures of Autumn when I get back from my business trip to LA!!!!
