What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: We got a goldendoodle from fox creek. He is about 30lbs and has the most beautiful golden wavey coat, with
button brown eyes and lashes for miles. Our new addition is name Rusty. We did a family lottery to name the dog and my eldest son won. Rusty is now 10 months old and has everyone eating out of his paw. He is extremely bright and was wonderful to train. We had him house broken by 4.5 months. He has the run of the house and thinks he is king. It doesn't help any when my husband who didn't want a dog treats him like the royal prince. Rusty has a very special way of getting my husbands attention. When he wants Bill to play with him he gets up into his face and smiles showing Bill his teeth, he looks as if he was smiling for a picture then he kisses him. Bill can't resist him when he does this.
Rusty loves to hang out with the boys. When he wants to play with my youngest son he takes his blanket to him so they can play. Rusty walks around the house with his blanket in his mouth so he always has a comfortable place to lie down. He is a real character.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I was looking for a pet for my son .We chose the goldendoodle because my boys have allergies, and after doing my reseach on temperment and intelligence, we went with the goldendoodle. Best chioce we could have made.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: long walks, playing in the snow and cuddling with him.

Favorite Doodle Products?: too many. but he loves to play tug a war with his rope with the boys

Samantha & I live in NJ. She begged & pleaded to get out of the cold and DH & I finally gave in and we left NJ for our apartment in Florida. On the way we stopped to visit friends in Richmond. Belinda from the Richmond group invited us over to meet her and she surprised us with 16 Doodles that came over to play. We have also met several DK members here in Florida. You have found a wonderful extended family here in DK.

We not only have doodles in common, but I also taught special needs children. I was a teacher for 20 years and loved it. I really miss the class but enjoy retirement and my grandson.
