About Me:

I am a empty nester who loves dogs, and decided it was time to have my dream dog, a Labradoodle. I found my girl, Gracie Mae through a breeder, who has had several litters and was being adopted to a good home since she will be a retired mom, hum, there's a thought. Although I work full time as a career advisor for a youth program, I have worked with clients from CEO's to homeless. I have lots of other interests besides dogs, independent movies, reading and much more.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

I have a standard F-1 who is 4 years old, chocolate/apricot in color. She has the sweetest disposition and loves to be with me anywhere all the time, including the bathroom, which is off limits. She recently had her last litter of 13 puppies for the breeder and is a very good mom to the pups.

I also have two cats, one very old and grouchy and one that is a year old who thinks that the dog is her personal playmate. Fortunately for the cat, my doodle lets the cat have her way, which includes playing with her wagging tail.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

I have always loved large dogs, had a Golden Retriever at one time, and love Labs in general (except for the shedding). I found out about Labradoodles and thought this would be the perfect combination of loveable, dog with little or no shedding.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

We take walks, and she joins me for coffee with friends and always gets lots of attention, which start conversations with new people and clearly people who like dogs. I love introducing her to children and teaching them how to approach a dog before petting as well. The look on children's faces when they pet my dog is sweet.

A little bit but nothing major
