I just lost my best friend, sophie, who was a 1 1/2 yr old black & white labradodle.. She's sorely missed. Looking for a 1 yr. doodle without real barking problems. I live in a rural area on 2 acres of land and I'm a weaver who works at home.
What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
I got Sophie from a breeder when she was 7 months old. I've had many dogs, but never a puppy. I would love to get one about a year old.
Where did you get your doodle(s)?
Breeder
Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
I fell in love with my friend's doodle. And they're very smart and affectionate.
What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
play, run,, walk in woods, and just plain speak with them....they really get it!
Does your doodle(s) shed?
Yes!
Who grooms your doodle(s)?
I do.
Favorite Doodle Products?
toys that she retrieves.

Welcome to DoodleKisses - the best website around for doodle lovers everywhere. I also love weaving and just finished a project with 5th and Kg. students with weaving baskets and making chicks, ducklings, and bunnies to put in the baskets. It is so great to be retired or working from home.
So sorry for your loss. She was much too young. Our doodles are not living long lives and I think it is partially due to their diets. The kibble these days is just not healthy. I hope you are able to find another doodle to fill in the void in your life. Wish we were closer. You might also look on the labradoodle websites and on IDOG and DRC websites. Rescue or rehome is usually more appropriate for older dogs.
