About Me:

I am the mom of an amazing 13-month old Labradoodle, 90 pound whopper, named Armistead. I also bought a new miniature labradoodle for my 84-year old mother. His name is Maxwell and he is also from the breeder par excelance Carol Dean. Cute dog but he is a bit strange - he doesn't walk; apparently, hopping is his preferred mode of locomotion.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

In addition to my 'doodle, I have another sweet dog named Cap'n Marvel and two hell-raising parrots, named Big Bird and Rubio. Rubio yells "help' for 15-20 minutes at a stretch when he feels he's not getting the attention he deserves; Big Bird says "good morning, I love you" and Cap'n Marvel and Armistead help me stay grounded, when the stress of my job starts to pull me under.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

I wanted a dog I could train to be a therapy dog, to visit old and sick people in nursing homes and other lonely environments. I wanted another labradoodle--a miniature--to fill the space recently left my her deceased Papillon.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

Walk for miles, play catch with Mr. Shark and Mr. Spider, hang out with a good book and a loving 'doodle.

a mobile groomer

anything that will distract him from eating my shoes, underwear, and large pieces of furniture
