What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: I have a 2 year old female Goldendoodle. She is cream colored and weighs 66 pounds. She is very active and extremely playful. She is happy all the time and always looks like she is smiling. Of course she is smart, too!

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: My son wanted a Golden Retriever and my husband wanted a Doberman Pinscher. I have allergies so I did some research and discovered all sorts of "doodles" are out there. The Doodleman Pinscher was definitely out of the question (yes, they do exist) and we fell in love with the Goldendoodle. We found a website that listed puppies for sale which included a breeder in Killeen with puppies born on my son's birthday. It was meant to be so 4 days later we brought her home.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Goldie has boundless amounts of energy so I jog/walk her twice a day. She also likes to be chased around the backyard or play catch with the football in the house. She spends time outside chasing squirrels as well. My favorite thing is to get hugs from her.

Favorite Doodle Products?: Not a brush! When her hair gets long, she gets very matted. It's uncontrollable and I end up having to shave her in the summer. She goes from looking like a Golden Retriever to looking like a Poodle! She loves playing catch with balls and tug-o-war with any cheap stuffed animal I can find.

Saturday the 15th of November at 3 in the afternoon. This is a lovely park - see my message "Location of Houston area dog parks" for a map.

Congressman Bill Archer Bark Park
Location: West Houston, off Hwy 6 north of I-10 about 1/2 a mile. Across from Bear Creek Park.
Amenities: 20 plus acres. Double gated & fenced, pick up bags, large and small dog areas (with large and small agilty fun equipment in them!) -doggie swimming ponds, water fountains, doggie showers, shade areas, benches, lots of trees, long walking trails, parking lot. Open 7 days a week dawn to dusk.
NOTE: No doggie training treats allowed in dog parks, it causes fights!
