Does anyone know of any rescue Doodles or Standard poodles in Alberta, Canada.

About Me:: I am disabled and own two dogs. I have always loved animals but never have tried raising such a beautiful large dog before. Now I have I would like a brother or sister to keep her company.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: I have a black Golden Doodle, Bella. She just turned one year on December 17th. I also have a Teacup Poodle. Yup a poodle and a doodle. My teacup is a black female name Carly and she is almost 3 years old.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I wanted a smart large dog. For companionship and safety. I had been thinking about getting a standard poodle. After talking with people and reading info on the internet I decided a Doodle would be a better fit for us.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Go to the dog park and watch her with other dogs. She is so comical. She loves the snow. Love running, rolling and romping. Its a delight to watch her.

Favorite Doodle Products?: A large "KONG". We put all her food in it so she has to work for her meals. We find she has a lot of energy and needs to burn it off.

I lived in Calgary for a few years, walking distance to the fabulous dog park at the top of 14th street up from 17th avenue. I loved the dog beach and called it 'the happiest place on earth'.

Kimberley is post card gorgeous but there is no dog park! The hundreds of miles of trails are off-leash but people's dog are not well socialized and only a few of us pick up after our dogs. Calgary is a wonderful place to have a dog! Your Bella is muy bella.
