What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

F1b Goldendoodle. Layla. She's a standard Goldendoodle who is a true princess, at least in her own mind. She is 7 years old and 78 pounds and when she doesn't want to move she doesn't move. She and her poodle brakes are very strong! She loves people, especially kids. She's never been crazy...calm, calm , calm!

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

I had a golden retriever/basenji mix who was my once in a lifetime heart dog. I love goldens, but his shedding was out of control crazy. I didn't want to do that anymore. I've always LOVED Goldendoodles so it was just the natural next step.

I've always had rescues and it was hard to make the decision to go the breeder route. I've heard some puppy mill doodle horror stories and for a number of reasons couldn't go there. I got her from a veterinarian who breeds (very small scale) because she loves it and she breeds for temperament. People can't believe how calm she is.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

Take her to Starbucks where she holds court and sucks up the love and attention. Everybody knows her. Everybody loves her.

Yes
