Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

We had a Golden Retreiver for 14 years who passed away. Loved that type of dog and personality. Liked the idea that he MAY not shed or would shed less than usual. We lost a chance at a rescue doodle when the owner decided to keep him so we just stayed in that breed to get our fur baby.
