One red goldendoodle, nine and one-half weeks old. His name is Rufus. We also have a six year-old Siamese cat named Simba.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

I have been looking for a doodle for quite a while. The owner of a local flower shop has a goldendoodle that she keeps at the shop. We went into the shop one day and met Brady. He was so sweet and friendly. I fell in love. She told me about the breeder, and I reseachered the breeder. I liked what I saw, and there were puppies ready for the time I wanted. In addition, my oldest daughter had a golden a few years ago, and that was the sweetest big dog I had ever been around. I couldn’t manage a big dog, but wanted the doganality of a golden without the shedding.
