About Me:: I'm the mom in a family of six: 2 daughters, a husband, and two dogs.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: We have a 6-month old Australian multigen labradoodle. Her name is Chaana Jaada, which means Muddy Girl in the Haida language. Chaana started out as a cafe coloured puppy with a lighter face. She's lightened to more of a milk chocolate colour with chalk and cafe undercoat. She's got a beautiful fleece coat--more straight than wavy. She's sweet and silly and a fabulous addition to our family.
We also have a 13-year old labrador x border collie. His name is Morgan.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: We needed a dog that would complement our existing family dynamic. Our old boy, Morgan, has been the best dog ever. He was active on hikes, liked to snuggle at home, was patient with our girls as they learned to walk, and has an amazingly large vocabulary. We wanted a dog like him--without the shedding. I took an online breed matching quiz. Then, I did tons of online research, and I learned about the different types of doodles, coats, colours, and sizes. The Australian multigen labradoodle seemed like the best fit for us.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Our favourites are walking on the beach, playing ball, and hiking in the rainforest.
