About Me:

Married, no children (but raised a few). Both active. I'm retired from USC as an administrator and faculty member in the business school. Charlie owns his own fence business. Live in city with large fenced yard (natch!). I grew up on a farm; he is the child of Charleston musicians, we have a cabin at Lake Wateree. We have a blessed life, good friends, and great families.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

We had Sadie, a labradoodle for 11+ years. Love of my life..Smart, sweet, very fast! Lost her to cancer in March 2017. Stella, our yellow Labrador, died the following October at 12+ years from cancer. Another brilliant, sweet, loving dog of ours. Prior to Sadie and Stella, we had a Golden Retriever, Savannah, and a brown Lab, Sophie. Prior to those we had Shorty, a rescued sheltie and Ashley and Andi, sister Goldens; Andi was rescued after failing a hunting test! We had Sam the Siamese for 13+ years, Smitty Kitty and New Kitty for 10+ years each. And we relocated 8-10 raccoons from our property cause they ate the Koi from our fish pond.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

Was fortunate enough to be in the right place, right time for the gift. Love at first sight!

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

Sadie loved to run, which we did at our lake cabin, and swim in the water. We would go to the park and have ice cream when Stella went hunting with Daddy. We traveled together and hiked in the woods. She went with Daddy to work every day initially.

A little bit but nothing major

Favorite Doodle Products?

Our king size bed (first) and her therapeutic bed. She didn't play with toys much because she always let Stella have them. She loved to be brushed.
