Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

we lost our 3 year old bernese mountain dog and I could not deal with another loss because of genetic diseases. I thought the mix would give me a little of leo with a healthy poodle mix. Teddy is attacking my older dogs. The trainer says it is resource guarding and i am the resource. He is going to hurt her. He is sweet, smart and loveable. He simply cannot be here with older dogs
