About Me:: I’m a retired elementary school teacher. I have two grown sons and two darling granddaughters. My husband and I live in Long Beach part time and in the Palm Springs área part time.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: We have a 6 year old labradoodle. His name is Stanley. He is our only pet.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: We did a lot of research. We wanted a dog that’s good with children, because our granddaughter was two at the time. We liked that doodles don’t shade, are sweet and are smart!

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: We like to hike and take long walks.

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: Go Dogs. Go has been grooming him, but they’re getting very expensive, so we trying a place called Sudsy next.

Would you be willing to Dog Sit on occasion for other DoodleKisses members? (You are NOT committing to anything by saying yes - you are just saying you might be willing to do this if you were acquainted with the other member and the circumstances were right.): Yes

For example, there are groups for grooming, nutrition, health/medical, types of doodles, puppy groups etc. Enjoy! Be sure to join the Southern California group. We meet about once a month, usually at Arbor Dog Park in Seal Beach and some of us meet for lunch first. The next romp will be October 28, with a Halloween theme.
