Hey Gaby, Did you write me yesterday? I got an email saying that you did, but it doesn't come up on my page. It also shows on my message history, but no comment comes up on the comment part of my page. Just wondering if DK is having trouble or what's going on? Hope things are going better with the house breaking! Pam
Oh, one more thing.....is she peeing a lot? Does she seem to have no control? You might need to check for a bladder infection too. This is not uncommon for female puppies. If she seems to squat a lot and need to go all the time and then not pee much or pee gobs and gobs this could be the problem. Just a thought......TTYL! Pam
Hi Gaby! Maybe I can give you a couple of tips that might help....Do you keep water down all the time for her? If so, you might want to only give her water 3 or 4 times a day and never after 4 or 5 in the evening. If she is drinking all the time, she will pee all the time. Also....do you have a crate for her? If you do you can try this...if you catch her in the act of peeing in the house, take her outside right away and give her your command word for going outside, if she goes she can be loose in the house, if not put her in her crate for 10 minuets. After 10 minuets take her out again and give her the word for going outside that you use, if she goes then she gets to be loose in the house, if not then back in the crate for 10 minuets. She will soon learn that if she wants to be loose in the house she needs to go outside. This works very well and we have used it with several of our puppies with great success. By the way this does not make them hate the crate, it just teaches them what they need to do to be loose in the house. All of our dogs love to be in their crate and go to them very willingly because they know they get special treats when they do. Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes! Pam

Some dogs when they are adults think puppies are 'annoying brats' and want to set the rules RIGHT AWAY...but after a few days or a couple weeks will be nicer once the puppy learns to not be so pushy.
