About Me:

My husband and I live on a fruit farm near Lake Ontario. We have 24 acres of apple and pear trees and asparagus. We're in a rural area approximately 4 miles from stores, gas stations, etc.

We have 1 doodle named Bella who came to us 7 years ago. She was rescued from a breeder/puppy mill because she couldn't carry a litter to birth and they were going to put her down. After working hard to gain her trust, we have a great dog now. We have another dog - Galaxy who is a golden retriever/smooth collie mix. We adopted Galaxy from our local shelter.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

I had read about doodles and their temperaments, and I'm allergic to pet dander so I was looking for a non-shedding dog.
