About Me:: I'm a wife, mom of three boys, children's librarian and dog lover. We just got our first doodle and are instantly in love! We've already taken her on so many adventures and look forward to having her as our constant companion!

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: We have on all black goldendoodle named Hattye. She was born on February 26, 2013! We got Hattye when we lost our 17 year old Border Collie. While we miss Shelby greatly, Hattye has added so much love back into our home!

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: We have allergy sufferers and we wanted a low shedding dog.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Hattye loves to go on walks, play in the water, chase soccer balls and snuggle!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: We brush her daily but she sees a groomer in Toano, VA called Country Clippers.

His mother weighs around 65 , but I think he will be a little bigger . Taking him in the end of June for a visit with the breeder and his momma, will be able to judge his size when they are side by side .

I guess I really didn't expect color change until I got on this site and joined the black doodles group. A lot of the doodles there seem to have gone through somewhat of a color change. Salvador's dad was a black standard poodle and all of his siblings (there were only 3 pups total) were black. He actually has white on his toes on both of his left feet though!

Salvador's all black too, but starting to get brown on his muzzle. He's a bundle of energy! You should get lots of information on this site! It's very helpful!
