Just relocated to Philadelphia from Houston. I hate the cold weather...but furry doodle loves it!

Pyredoodle - great Pyrenees mother and standard poodle father. His name is Finn - he is 10 months old and quite the handful. Weighs about 70lbs, and we constantly get stopped on walks to answer questions about his breed and even take pictures! He is an only child :)

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

I had a golden retriever prior and tried to adopt through a few agencies that ended up having issues with my small yard, work hours, and the fact that I had no other dogs. While still looking to adopt, I found a pyredoodle being "rehomed" online and became interested in the unique breed - I had several friends with goldendoodles. I found a breeder in TX and she just happened to have two newly born litters...I felt it was meant to be then!

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

We go on very long walks to wear him out. We just moved to an area that has a wildlife refuge with paths, and Finn loves to walk for miles checking out the birds and squirrels. I also like taking him with me on errands...he rides very well in the car which took quite a while since he actually used to get very car sick.

A little bit but nothing major

Who grooms your doodle(s)?

No one regularly except for me.
