What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: I'm getting an Apricot medium Standard Labradoodle. He was born on August 19, 2008. I currently have an 85 pound Black Lab named Murphy who can't wait to meet his new brother.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I've had Standard Poodles, Labs and Golden Retreivers and what could be better than a mix of two of my favorite breeds!

I was very pleased with how Continental handled him and us. My friend Kim came with me and was crying. This was the first pup she has had to see off. My heart felt the same but I had to be strong to keep Ukon calm and prepared for his cross country journey. Sorry to hear that you had to wait an hour on your end. I would love to hear all the details when you have time. I also can't wait to see pics of Ukon with his new family. Have a great weekend Jan!

You will most likely have to initiate the hugging process but once he becomes comfortable with you he will have no problem taking over that roll when he wants a hug.

When Murphy and Ukon bond they will be inseperable. Ukon is definitely the type of personality who likes to be a side kick. He will be Murphy's best friend in no time at all.

At 5:36am on December 12, 2008, Scott Chalkley said…: Today is my last day with my baby boy. I turn him over to you and Murphy tonight. He was so cute last night. We let him get away with laying on the couch with us, which we do every once in a while. I am sure you tell that by our pics. But we were laying on the couch watching survivor and he just came up on my chest and lay down with both paws around my neck and his head right next to mine. He fell asleep breathing in my ear. It was too cute. He is a lover! Anyway, my friend Kim and I will be dropping him off later this evening for his overnight fllight to come see you. I know you are super excited. I can't wait to hear about your first impression and Murphy's response to your new doodle.

I saw him on Sunday when I went to pick up his brother, Reily. I know you are going to fall in love with Ukon the minute you see him.
