About Me:

I am married to an amazing man! We have been together for 32 years, married for almost 26 of those years! We are the parents of two pretty amazing young adults! Two boys - 24 and 21 years of age, both in University! One of my boys has moved out, the other is almost out and my husband plays hockey 3 nights a week! My doodle is my menopausal furbaby! I work for the Federal government, love my family, scrapbooking, cake making, reading, knitting and photography!

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

I had a guardian miniature australian labradoodle who passed away while still pregnant with 8 puppies. Becky passed away on August 3rd, 2017. We were devastated. We recognized that we could not live without a doodle and got another ALD from the same breeder. A little boy, he is 15 weeks and is a firecracker! We are blessed to have him! He keeps us on our toes! His name is Mozart but we call him Mozzie. He is named after a character on the TV Series White Collar. We also have a bearded dragon names Jasper and a Beta fish named Thor.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

We have been searching for a dog that my son and I are both not allergic to. We sort of fell upon the Labradoodle and found that we were not allergic. Total fluke! My parents have poodles and we are allergic. We cannot explain it, we are just so darn lucky to have found these amazing dogs!

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

We play in the back yard a lot b/c he is still little. We visit family a lot, we go to puppy school, we just attended a Doodle Romp, we love to go for short walks (we are still mastering the leash!), we go to the pet store, we have been swimming in the neighbours salt water pool, we have been to the Vet, we love to chase the ball, we love to play hide and seek, we have brought him to the office for a visit! We are very excited to travel and next summer we are renting a cottage in PEI for a week! We are looking forward to introducing Mozzie to the ocean! :)

Nope!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?

We are still looking for the perfect groomer! We use a small Spaw in Orleans, Ontario.

Favorite Doodle Products?

I don't have any doodle specific products. We are sort of going with the flow right now. It's hit and miss with Mozzie!
