About Me:: I am the clothing buyer for a local ski/snowboard/tennis outdoor store in Yakima, WA. Tucker, my labradoodle, comes to work with me every day. The customers love him. I have lived in Yakima since 1974. Grew up in Walla Walla, attended the U and WSU. Love to ski, play tennis and am addicted to golf.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: Tucker is my labradoodle. He just turned 4 years old and is a complete joy. I had always had labs before becoming Tucker's mom. Riley also lives here. She is a three year old dingo. She just showed up one day shortly after we moved to our new home in a cherry orchard. She surprised us with 5 puppies shortly after that. We raised the puppies til they were 8 weeks old then took them to Woodinville, Wa to a puppy rescue program. They all were placed in good homes. And I better not forget Spike, my Himalyan/Berman mix cat. He endures the dogs.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I had seen Labradoodles on "The Today Show" several years ago. The moment I saw them I knew that would be my next dog. So when my labs were gone I found Tucker.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Taking him to work and sharing him with others. Walks in the orchard, playing fetch and taking him swimming.

Samantha also comes to work with me. The couple of days over the past 9 months she stayed home, I was deluged with 'is Samantha okay?', 'where is Samantha? ' - funny I could be out sick and all I would get is 'feel better?' - 'we missed Samantha'!
