We do have a McDoodle....he's the best puppy, we love him to death! :) I thought I recognized your Baloo from the pics online on the website, gotta love those eyes. Enjoy!
You will get through that puppy stage - just keep telling yourself that!
Ned was a little older when we got him - 3 1/2 months. He still lost teeth and used us for a teething toy, but was really easy to housebreak and begin walking on a leash. He fit in with the other dogs quickly - and our oldest dog acted like your Rottie with him. Enjoy your sweet baby!
They do look a lot alike. Ned has often been compared to goldendoodles - it must be something about his expression. Check out Michele and Penny the Wonder Dog, and Nancie Casie and her doodle, Gracie. both are goldendoodles and resemble each other AND Ned. Gracie is a really tall doodle and Ned is a small guy, but in pictures - they could be litter mates.
Baloo is so precious. Will his eyes stay blue do you think? Is he mellow or really active? How is your Rottie accepting him?
Hi, Jeanette, we live in the Reno/Tahoe area. I'm pretty sure I'm one of the few non-Floridian McDoodle owners! I don't think there are many here in the West. Barkley also has very sharp teeth and a huge desire to try them out on our hands, arms, fingers and clothes. I think he's getting a little better about it, but it could just be wishful thinking... I didn't realize Kelli wanted him neutered before six months--four months is coming up here in just a couple of weeks! ( I'll be sooo glad once he's had his last parvo shot and can go anywhere safely.) I'll have to ask the vet when we go for the final shot about the neutering schedule. You'll like the Starbucks adventure--we both think it's great fun.
Your new pup is darling! What color are his eyes - they almost look blue in one of the pics. And I never knew a long haired rotty even existed. Aren't they a beautiful dog too! Is their temperament the same as the short haired version?
Jeanette, thanks for your comments on my blog. Your response brought a smile to my face. Thanks for that also. No need to worry about the crate training. I have people offering me oodles of crates to start off with. One of these days I will have to go get one of them. Betsy

I can't wait to see the pictures of the little one!
How is your daughter doing? I am hoping that no news is good news!
