What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
Maximilian my multi-gen labradoodle from Rutland Manor Australia. He was born in July 2005. As a pup, he was a lovely gold, but has since mellowed to a lovely cream with gold ears. Max is the king of the house, the joy of our lives, along with his pit bull brother - Pudge, who is 7 years old.
Where did you get your doodle(s)?
Breeder
Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
The allergry friendly coat was the deciding factor. We have asthma and allergies in our household.
What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
most everything, when we're at home. Where ever I go, my doodle goes too! We like long walks and playing at the park. We don't do much traveling in the car, as Max seems to get car sick very easily.
Does your doodle(s) shed?
Nope!
Who grooms your doodle(s)?
We have a mobile groomer who come to the house "The Itchy Pooch"
Thanks Jill for the comments on my page and Lucy. I love playing around with all of the different graphics and bling. Just google my space graphics or glitter graphics and you will be amazed at what you will find. Have fun with it.
If your photo is already uploaded to the site, find the photo on your "My Page" and click on it. Another window will pop-up that shows your photo and allows you to page through all of your uploaded photos. Below the photo on the right side, you'll see "Edit Tag". Just click that link and you can go in & edit the tag to say whatever you want. If the photo is a new one, just enter in the tag information on the provided screen during the upload process.
Below, I've copy/pasted Adina's advice she posted to help in putting in the best tag information. But remember, for the Rutland Manor Family group, at least one of your tags should be "Rutland".
Please let me know how things go & good luck!

How To Tag Your Pictures
Added by Adina Pearson on July 6, 2008 at 4:30pm
Tagging pictures is about being specific and relevant and factual--this is one area where creativity is unnecessary and a hindrance. A picture's tag line is just a collection of words that tell you what is in the picture--what you are looking at. But the words don't have to be connected to one another--in other words each word should be able to stand alone to describe something important about your picture.
Let's use beautiful Chedi as an example of the RIGHT way and WRONG way to tag a picture:
(Imagine a beautiful photo of a Cream/White Doodle in a dark sweater here)
A NOT-SO-GREAT-TAG: In not-so great tagging you look at the picture and try to think of your thoughts or feelings about the picture or get creative. A not-so-great-tag-line would be: Wow the sweater makes him look like a parti!
The tag line above is great if you are reading it as a sentence...but tag lines show the words in alphabetical order once you hit "save" so it will likely look like this: a him like look makes parti sweater the Wow. Remember the tag is only supposed to tell you the relevant things in the picture. Out of the tag words above what does the words a, makes, or him tell you about the picture? Not much. So the tags need to describe what is IN the picture...nothing else.
A GREAT TAG WOULD BE: Chedi goldendoodle cream picture -- This is a great tag line because it tells you the following things are involved: a picture of a cream goldendoodle. It's also simple and ONLY describes what is in the picture. There is no "of" or "a" included. People searching for a picture of a cream goldendoodle would be more likely to find this pic. Likewise people on this site are more likely to find your beautiful dood if they are looking for one of the same color or generation if you tag correctly. As an added benefit, tagging helps other doodle-maniacs like you find our website...and the doodle friendship circle grows!
So when you have extra time, please look over your pics and add tags that describe the type of doodle you have in the tag of every pic!
Hi Jill, I wish I could tell my husband what you said but, he would kill me if he knew I wrote that in my profile. He hates when I mention it to people. He thinks the song is really corny. (boncy bo boboncybobo). LOL. Personally, I liked it as you did. He played the banjo on it and was the one with the high pitched voice even though now, his voice is really low. Also, he sold his rights to the record company so they took his name off of the credits.
I need to update my pictures as well. Most of mine are older and not as interesting as they should be. We love living here. It is really different. No 405 traffic. Yeah.
Laura
Hi Jill, I would be honored to be your friend. How are you anyway? We have not talked for a long time. Wow, Max looks great. I remember when he was a puppy. I was just thinking of you yesterday when I posted some pictures of the doodle show that our puppies were in, remembering that Max was the winner. They are all grown up now.
Hope to talk more,
Laura & The Goombah d'oro
