- About Me:
- I am a parent to 3 kids including my dog, who, I am sure, thinks he is a child too! We are delighted that we made a snap decision in 2006 to buy him from a breeder. I had just decided to start my Market Research & Internet Marketing business in 2006, and was not certain if having a dog would be a good idea. But here we are almost 7 years later, wondering how we could have done without him in our lives!!! :)
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- We have a chocolate labradoodle. His name is Mocha. I never envisioned us having a dog (after our parakeet!) as I thought it would be too much time & effort. While I do think, he has taken time & effort to nurture, train & groom, it is well worth it! We are very proud to have him be a part of our family.
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- I was sure that I needed 3 very specific criteria if we were going to have a dog. 1) It shouldn't smell, 2) It shouldn't drool, & 3) It shouldn't shed .... He fit all 3, perfectly! :)
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Play Hide-And-Go-Seek, Hikes, Drives in the car with the window down, and Walks in the neighborhood. He also likes the dog park, but I am not too comfortable having him out there.
- Does your doodle(s) shed?
- Nope!
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- A private groomer .... I am still looking around for someone that really knows how to groom a labradoodle without having to shave him down each time!!! :(

Yes, they do look similar! What does Mocha weigh? Charlie is 2 now and weighs 38.5 lbs.

This site really has 'it all.' My non-doodle, but dog-loving friends all ask me to go here to ask for dog advice. Thanks for the friend request. The grooming group is really helpful!
