About Me:: I am a retired engineer living in a small town with three cats and one doodle.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: Addie is a medium double doodle (goldendoodle and labradoodle cross). She is a puppy that is learning to live with three cats. She is the first non-rescue type dog that I have owned. Her poodle side has come through and she is a black phantom.

Where did you get your doodle(s)?: Breeder

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I was looking for a dog with a good temperament that would also be able to get along with my cats. I am hoping when she is an adult to have her trained as a therapy dog. I also am looking forward to going on easy hikes. A relative is allergic to dogs and I am also hoping that I can travel with her and possibly visit my allergic family.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Addie just turned 4 mo on 4/30/14, so we are still working on the favorite.

Does your doodle(s) shed?: Nope!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: a groomer

My breeder is starting to breed sheepadoodles and her first litter is due in a few weeks. She has a male phantom, but the sire for this litter has the parti gene. We will see what they turn out like, but I really want a phantom to replace my goldendoodle who died in February.

I had a phantom F1b goldendoodle who was a great little dog. Where is Fuquay Verina? Never heard of it. My goldendoodle, BTW, had the most fantastic coat imaginable. Take a look at him on the photos on my page. No shedding and no matting.
