What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: I have a Labradoodle. Her name is Bella. She is a wonderful dog!

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: We did a lot of research on different breeds of dogs and felt this breed was the best for our family. We have a son with special needs and we needed a family oriented, smart and low key dog.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: I enjoy taking her for walks. She loves to run after balls.

As for therapy training, well Sadie is very excitable too but I'll see what they say and what we need to work on, I know she isn't ready for it yet. She is super friendly, like all doodles I know lol, and thinks everyone is her friend. The biggest problem I have with her is how excited she gets seeing other dogs, she just wants to play. In class it takes her a little while to calm down and figure out we are there for work and not play lol.

At 3:00pm on March 18, 2009, Lynn & Sadie in WI said…: Hi Karen, yes they do look similar LOL.. Where is Pleasant View located? I got Sadie from Tinkerdoodle Kennels near Black River Falls, WI. She is almost 10 mos old now, how old is Bella?

Sadie and I are busy working on training classes. We start a Therapy Dog class on Saturday. I'm sure she's not ready to be a certified therapy dog yet but the instructor suggested we go so I can see what areas we need to work on. I think it will be interesting.
