About Me:

I have recently married and moved to a different town. I have a son, daughter-in-law and grandson who are in another state because of being in the military. My husband has 2 children so we have a wonderful blended family. We have 6 dogs and 4 cats, all but 2 of the dogs are rescues and we love them all.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

I have one Labradoodle named Rigby. He was born April 1st and is one of 9 puppies. I also have rescues, 4 cats (Munkin, Cristy, Taz and Casper) and 1 dog (Bella). Bella is dashound Sharpei mix. My husbands dogs are yellow lab, samoyed, golden retriever mix and pug terrior mix. Rigby my Labradoodle has medical issues that was discovered when he was about 5 months old. He has a liver shunt and has the eye condition. He is currently on special food and medicine and is very active. I love him so much and would like to have another doodle sometime in the future. They are so full of personality and very loving dogs.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

I always thought they were such cute dogs and as I learned more and more about their personalities I just couldn't wait to get one. Even with Rigby having health issues he is a very affectionate dog and loyal pet. If I didn't already have another dog I would definitely get another doodle.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

He loves walks and playing in the back yard. He and Bella like playing ball but I have to make sure and not leave it outside because Rigby will try to eat it. On nice days we sit outside and relax. He loves getting scratched behind his ears and will fall asleep in my lap when I do this. He is just a wonderful dog.

Does your doodle(s) shed?

Yes!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?

I have been doing it myself, but plan on taking him to my vet for grooming after the holidays

Favorite Doodle Products?

Rigby loves those squeaky toys. At first I was afraid to get them but he loves making them squeak and throws them in the air. He also likes to hide them in the couch cushions so that Bella can't get them.
