Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: Low to non shedding coat and they are great family dogs

Puppy Stats

12-08-10 Vet check 10lbs 6oz (4 and a half months)

As of 1-1-11 Auto has learned sit, down, crawl, jump, paw, high five, and roll over. He is getting better at drop it, leave it, and stay. Those seem to be much harder for my ,at times,naughty little puppy to learn!! He rings his bell consistently to go outside to go potty! He hasnt had any accidents for quite some time! He is such a smart boy!!

01-14-11 Vet check with last set of puppy shots!! Auto weighed in at 11lbs 7 oz. His vet estimated him to be 18 to 20 pounds at full size. He is 100 percent house broken and knows many tricks!! He loves his big "human" sisters. Playing chase, playing fetch, and eating paper!! Yuck!! He wil be losing his manhood and being microchipped on 02-15-11!

Rua weighed in at 15.4 lbs today...she is a bit of a chunk compared to Auto and to Peyton. She doesn't each much of her kibble, but I do a lot of training, and even though I give her pieces about 3/16 by 3/16, she must be getting enough to compensate.

I am mostly doing better...still having issues with whatever I picked up for a stomach bug...it has been better the last part of this week. I really needed to go on a diet, so this kinda kick-started it for me, though, I don't recommend it to anyone, but I have lost 8 lbs.

Well, gotta give my sister a call in CA and wish her a happy birthday before I get too tuckered out!

I am sure you are busy with kids and puppies, but please keep in touch!

So, I just finished replying to the comment you left on my Rua snow picture and then got back to my email and 3 messages later see the comment on weight! LOL She is a bit of a nipper. My DH, against my repeated "wishes", has played tug games with her. So, when she wants to nip at me, I will give her a toy to bite. If she keeps it up, I will give her a time out and put her in the laundry room (she can hear us, but it has a baby gate). In the morning when we let her out of her crate, she will mouth us...not nipping, but likes to kiss us with her teeth if you know what I mean.

In our back yard (which isn't fenced) she is always on her leash. My DH shoveled paths (made a baseball diamond) and we walk her between home and first to go potty and usually between home and third to poo!!! When she is finished, she'll through the remaining bases! LOL. I have a video, but I need to edit it a bit and save it in a compressed format. It shows the typically bunny hop as she runs thru the snow...cracks me up. I love the snow pictures of him you posted...quite a nice snow beard. I can't believe that Rua is over 1 lb bigger than he is. She gained almost 3 lbs in 5 weeks. Which is incredible because she just nibbles on her kibble. That is awesome he is potty trained. We keep crossing our fingers as each day passes and there aren't any accidents. The past 3 weeks have gotten much easier...we have been giving her a bit more freedom when we are home, and it is nice that when we check on her, she is usually laying by the front door looking out over her front yard. She doesn't like it when the neighbor opens HIS garage door and takes his garbage cans out...she hasn't quite learned her boundries yet.

Be sure you join Whispering Kennel group. Also, Julie Igram (Peyton) has a puppy from the same litter. I printed out the list of the available puppies from the litter...Rua is Female Red and peyton is Male Red. Do you remember what Auto's name was? It looks like Auto is slightly bigger (approximately 9 oz as of their 12/8 & 12/10 vet checks. I am glad you are doing the puppy stats. It realy helps to remember and to see it all in one place. I am also going to create a new album for "Monthly Pictures" and take a picture on the 27th of each month and post it so I can watch the changes.

Please post more pictures of Rua's brother, Auto. I will show her (and my DH - Dear Husband or whatever is fitting depending on my mood).
