About Me:: I am a critical care RN in Atlanta, GA. Both my husband and I are native Atlantans (very rare). We have two daughters, 10 and 6. I play tennis and run.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: We have two doodles: Sweet Georgia Brown (Georgia), an F1b chocolate labradoodle and Josephine de Pamplemousse (Josie), a multi-gen, creme with apricot ears Austrailian labradoodle. Georgia is approx 22" and weighs 44lbs (long and lean). Josie is still growing, but weighs in at 26lbs @6mos. Georgia was born May 07 and Josie was born May 08.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: After we lost our last dog (Louis Satchmo, a blue-tick beagle mix), I did a lot of research on breeds. We wanted a dog that did not shed a lot, was smart, energetic and good with children. The doodle fit our family perfectly. We visited Carol Dean at Southern Charm Labradoodles and fell in love with the breed.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: With their seemingly endless energy, the girls make great running partners. Georgia could go for days and Josie, with her shorter legs, does her best to keep up with us. Georgia is much more of a poodle in stature and personality. She has the most beautiful gait. Josie is a lot more labby and loves to play fetch and plow through water. We love to take them hiking through the woods.

Favorite Doodle Products?: Pet Silk Liquid Silk Serum (finishing gel) -- like silicone and helps to keep hair from tangling and matting. Also just discovered a matte detangling "brush". It's very sharp with serrated teeth...a little dangerous for human fingers but cuts through the mattes.

At 9:15pm on June 4, 2009, Diana Murphy said…: We'd love a play daate, we live near Morris Brandon in Buckhead. We don't have a fenced in yard. Tahoe would LOVE a play date, he almost attacks every dog we see on walks because he is craving some doggie attention.

The teeth are very sharp. We had to shave Georgia when her adult coat came in...it was a nightmare. We lucked out with Josie, but she got a 2 inch trip all over during the last groomer trip. Josie was the Pink Girl. We'd love to have a playdate. We have to wait a bit though as Georgia is in heat. Perhaps I could do Josie by herself though...hmmm. Where do y'all live?

Which girl were you again in the Dancer Cooper litter? Do you have any interest in play times? It is so good for Tahoe!!! Hope you had a good weekend.
