Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

I've wanted one forever- wanted a low maintenance play mate for our big boy Logan but couldn't afford one until I found two litters where the breeder had been extremely ill and unable to sell them- his daughter got them when they were 4 months old and worked to find forever homes. I went with the intention of getting a boy but fell in love with a little girl.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

We are a huge hiking family but haven't taken the new pup out for more than a walk by the river.
