About Me:

I'm a budget and purchasing agent for a public high school and have been married 23 years to the love of my life. We live on a 20 acre farm with horses and cows. My kids are all grown so I recently decided to get a doodle (1st one!) after my 14 yr. old Lhasa Apso passed away. And being somewhat crazy, I thought my hubby also needed a puppy and he chose a Red Heeler. They definitely keep us busy!

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

I have an almost 1 year old male ASD/Goldendoodle named Murphy. He's a "small medium" at 36 lbs. He is sweet, lovable and pretty calm and laid back for a puppy. He's a little on the independent side but definitely loves his mommy, snuggling, and going places in the car. We also have a female Red Heeler, Mattie, exactly the same age (both born in June 1st) and size. I call her "Freight Train" due to her limitless energy and exuberance. We also have a 12 lb., 8 yr old-ish (Guessing-she's a rescue) poodle-mix (maybe a maltipoo-poo?) named Marley. She has a love/hate relationship with the puppies. She loves the play and hates sharing the love. She prefers the Doodle to the Heeler b/c the Heeler is a little too energetic for her at times.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

I love poodles and always wanted a standard sized. They are so majestic and intelligent! Then I met an Aust. Labradoodle one day while out and about and simply fell in love! It was my intention to have one from that day on.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

Play fetch, go on walks, take him places in the car. He's so well behaved and gorgeous, he gets compliments everywhere we go. My very favorite thing is just to snuggle on the couch.

I have a brush that I love but can't recall the name. It's a knock off of something expensive and German-made.
