About Me:

My husband and I have been married for 25 years. Our 6 children are grown, and only one college age son here at home between semesters. We love dogs and have had several through our "child rearing" years.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

After 3 years of research and "dreaming" about it, we got our r ideal goldendoodle puppy. She was born May 6, 2014, and came to our family on July 3rd. Her father is a 49 lb. white standard Poodle; her mother is a 50 lb. red Golden Retriever. Our girl's name is Murphy.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

We have loved Labrador retrievers through the years, but this time wanted our dog to have less shedding. We thought we would get a Labradoodle, but we decided to try an F1 goldendoodle after we met one adopted by a friend.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

We love to take Murphy to places she's never visited before, especially places that has a dog for her to play with. It's fun to take her to training classes, and we love how affectionate she is - snuggles up with us and watches TV.

Does your doodle(s) shed?

A little bit but nothing major

Who grooms your doodle(s)?

We will likely have her professionally groomed monthly, with daily maintenance here at home.

Favorite Doodle Products?

The Chris Christensen "Buttercomb" and 16mm T Brush we're well worth the money. We brush and comb Murphy every day and these tools glide through her fur.
Otherwise, we've enjoyed spoiling her with lots of toys, mostly from the store, but more and more homemade toys as well.
