I looked to see if there was a group on here from that breeder and I couldn't find one. I also looked to see if she was in the owner recommended breeders group and didn't see her. Here is a link to the breeders on doodlekisses, by state:
I looked at her website - I remember seeing it when I was looking for my Ned (his breeder has moved to Arkansas). It seems ok - she certainly has a lot of dogs with many in guardian homes in the SLO area. Most of her dogs seem to have health testing - I would ask to see the parents' health testing report of the pup you are interested in (well when there is a pup to be interested in). I don't like the way she states that goldendoodles are allergy friendly and that labradoodles are non to low shedding. Both of these as blanket statements are not true. Many doodles are allergy friendly, but many are not. It is on a dog-by-dog basis. Many doodles are low to non shedding, but many (like one of mine) shed tons.
Have you checked these links out? Both are in the help section.
Lastly, you can post a discussion in a front page or in the So. Cal group that you are looking for local southern California breeder and have had some contact with Gail's Labradoodles in Templeton, and would like people to private message you with their recommendations. We aren't allowed to list specific breeders in those discussions, but can give you recommendations on your page or in private messages.
Are you looking for a goldendoodle or a labradoodle or do you care? I know several people who have gotten goldendoodles in the San Diego area from Christy's Goldendoodles. These dogs I have met and they appear beautiful, have normal energy (not nuts), and none of them that I have met shed. http://christysgoldendoodles.net/2/cgds.nsf/home?OpenForm&Seq=1
Many doodles are extremely high energy when young and need tons of training and attention. It might be difficult for you with your young children to have the time to do this so you want to look for the breeder to recommend a calmer puppy in the litter for your family. While color is what we all see, it is the least important factor in your choice. Also many doodles have highly matting coats and need lots of grooming (one of mine does) so be prepared to do this yourself as well as paying a groomer.
Let me know how else I can help you. There are several breeders that I have 'met' here who I would love to have a doodle from them - it would require traveling out of state.

Welcome to the So. Cal. group. We would love to have you come to one of the get-togethers to meet lots of doodles. Good luck in your search.
