We have 2 extremely well behaved girls. There's almost always someone home. When we are both gone, it's never for much longer than an hour, maybe two. I do have asthma and allergies but I did spend about an hour last week, having taken no allergy or asthma meds, with 3 labradoodle puppies and their mother without much of an allergic reaction. I always grew up with dogs in the house. The last dog I owned was a chihuahua that I bought when I was 10 and when he was 13 we had to put him down. Thanks to my inlaws and their very unfriendly pitbull mix, my daughters are afraid of most dogs. I would love for my girls to be able to see how wonderful a good, friendly dog is. My older daughter warms up faster to friendly dogs. The little one takes a bit longer. I work with a lady that fosters rescue animals and knows a great vet that I plan to use. We own our single family home with a fenced back yard.
What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
We have no pets now. We do, very much, want a doodle. Puppies are nice, but so much work! Our ideal situation would be to adopt an older puppy or adult dog that has already had some basic training. MOST important: must be good with children!
Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
First, the doodles I know of have wonderful dispositions - great for an active family like mine! I think a doodle could keep up with us! Second, I have allergies and asthma. I usually only have an asthma attack once every year or two (usually a cold will trigger symptoms). My allergies are NOT severe.
What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
We WOULD LOVE to go running, take our new family member with us to local T-ball games or any one of the many parks in our area.
Who grooms your doodle(s)?
I would do the majority of the grooming.

Mary, thank you. We are ecstatic about the litter and about getting to know the personalities of these little ones. Adoni had six girls and two boys. I haven't seen a better selection of females in a single litter. Let us know how things have gone for you in your search. I know you will love labradoodles.
OK, so that didn't work. My website is www.gemstonelabradoodles.ca and my email address is info@gemstonelabradoodles.ca
Guess I am not smart enough to create an active link or something.
Mary, check out Ann's page for more photos of the dogs. Ann Green (http://www.doodlekisses.com/profile/AnnGreen). You will see more of the dogs from Addie's last litter. I think you will enjoy the pics.
