About Me:: We have 2 extremely well behaved girls. There's almost always someone home. When we are both gone, it's never for much longer than an hour, maybe two. I do have asthma and allergies but I did spend about an hour last week, having taken no allergy or asthma meds, with 3 labradoodle puppies and their mother without much of an allergic reaction. I always grew up with dogs in the house. The last dog I owned was a chihuahua that I bought when I was 10 and when he was 13 we had to put him down. Thanks to my inlaws and their very unfriendly pitbull mix, my daughters are afraid of most dogs. I would love for my girls to be able to see how wonderful a good, friendly dog is. My older daughter warms up faster to friendly dogs. The little one takes a bit longer. I work with a lady that fosters rescue animals and knows a great vet that I plan to use. We own our single family home with a fenced back yard.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: We have no pets now. We do, very much, want a doodle. Puppies are nice, but so much work! Our ideal situation would be to adopt an older puppy or adult dog that has already had some basic training. MOST important: must be good with children!

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: First, the doodles I know of have wonderful dispositions - great for an active family like mine! I think a doodle could keep up with us! Second, I have allergies and asthma. I usually only have an asthma attack once every year or two (usually a cold will trigger symptoms). My allergies are NOT severe.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: We WOULD LOVE to go running, take our new family member with us to local T-ball games or any one of the many parks in our area.
