About Me:

I'm 65yr, young (65's the new 45) Have had dogs all my life. I used to volunteer at the Humane society n Broward co. I've always had "big dogs". Would usually go to the dog park with them on a daily basis. I work two days a week, for 6hr. a day. So I am home a lot. I've has a 45 yr. old male roommate for the past three yrs. that mostly has his own quarters. But does love dogs. I am known as a dog (animal) lover and am known for helping (adopting) old, and dogs in distress. I was also a dog groomer (many years ago. I am looking for a younger, smarter dog with a lot of love to give and with a lot of personality to receive a lot of love and to be my BFF, and enjoy life with Me. I've almost always have had male dogs, which I prefer but am not against having the right female. I definitely would prefer a medium leaning large dog as opposed to leaning to a small.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

I currently have a mixed lab handicapped resue12 yr.old(?) Casey. I have had her for about 9 yrs. I know she loves me as I do her, but for the most part has been able to express any kind of emotion.(possible has been depressed) she has never had any desire in life for anything.(but sleeping) I have worked with her and given her all the love I have, to no avail. Not interested in toys, food, car rides, dog parks, brushing, or even other dogs. I have two stray rescue cats that don't interest her in the least. She had been brought back to the pound by other people that had adopted her. I thought I could "love" her back to life as I had with my other adoptee's. She is def. now very close to the end of her life.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

I've gotten to know several different ones. Lab, golden, Aussie, Bernie, and Schnoodle. I have fallen head over heels for particularly the Schnoodle. I found her to have so many traits I admire and am looking for especially love and personality. I understand they are a "little" less high energy than the lab and golden doodle. I have also heard the Bernie doodle is a little less high energy, I do have to admit I Love Pits, but because of all the hype, I don't know if that would be a possibility.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

I would love to take him on hikes, play fetch, go to the dog park, to the ocean, walks around our home, and social outings. Watch tv and sleeping together. :)

A little bit but nothing major

Who grooms your doodle(s)?

I would, if not a groomer friend of mine.

Favorite Doodle Products?

Can't answer that. But in general I would have to say toys, beds and stuffed animals.
