I am a 60 yr old female that loves dogs. I have three! I am joining because, although I have always had dogs, I am fairly new to Doodles! I was looking for answers as to why my doodle sheds and if it will possibly decrease! I realized that this site would possibly helpful in the future for many questions that might arise!

Auggie: Bichon Frise Shih Tzu mix (TeddyBear Breed) - 7 yrs old

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

My sister has several doodles and informed me that they do not shed! Because I have dog allergy I am prone to buying dogs that are considered hyper allergenic and have low shedding! I purchased my doodle under that assumption. However, my doodle sheds A LOT! I love him to pieces so I am now looking for resolutions!

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

I love throwing a football and playing ball with him in the back yard! I love walking him as well! My favorite is just snuggling with him on the couch! He also loves to snuggle...
