Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

I am severely allergic to other dogs. My husband had wanted a Golden Retriever for more than 20 years and we were at an LL Bean Dog Days event over the summer and ran into someone who had a Godlendoodle and told us all about them. We had never heard of them. So after 20 years my husband got his hearts desire and I don't swell or have trouble breathing around the dog - YEAH!

Fetch, pillow fights, go for drives.
