About Me:: I'm a Brit living in Magnolia. I've been here for about 10 years and love it. Came here with my husbands job. Both daughters Ruth + Kim followed and they also live here in Tomball. They have two daughters also, Lillie and Gracie, ages 3 + 4 the apple of "Grammys" eye. Bentley my Goldendoodle arrived at our home Christmas day. Has been chaos but so much fun.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: Bentley is a Standard Large Goldendoodle. He is such a character. First dog I've had in quite some time. I'm enjoying the bonding, though my daughters feel my life is not the same. Life now revolves around Bentley. But he's brought so much love I don't know what I'd do without him, though when he goes digging just after being groomed I don't always feel that way.

Where did you get your doodle(s)?: Breeder

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: My daughter Kim had been researching the breed and decided on a the smaller breed. Which got my interest. But I knew I wanted a bigger dog since I'd previously always had Great Danes. Then one thing led to another and I was hooked

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: I love to go walking with him and I talk to him about everything and know my secrets are safe. Grooming is our time too. Just being with him is so special.

Does your doodle(s) shed?: A little bit but nothing major

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: I do. Once every six weeks he goes for a maintainance groom.

Favorite Doodle Products?: Don't have any yet

Relationship Status:: Married

But you have a fresh start and Bentley really does look cute with that - at least it does not look like he's down to pink skin. My husband is crazy about our boy too! Even to him gone for a grooming makes the house seem so empty.
What groomer did you take Bentley to? Would you use them again? I'm always open for ideas in the Magnolia area.

We've been through that several times. I finally found a groomer who does a pretty good job. We just need to tweak a thing or two. We should get our kids together one of these days.

My neighbor just got a 2 year old labradoodle and took him to be groomed last week because of matte's as well. Mr. Bentley looks AWESOME compared to what they did to his Sammy :-( Poor thing ended up completely bald - tail, ears, face EVERYTHING! They are all still beautiful to me :-)

Did you ever find a great boarding place for Bentley??? I would sure appreciate knowing the name and your recommendation. I am planning on going to visit the Foreest Shadow resort that I mentioned but of course it will be a long time before we can go anywhere due to Molly's surgery. Nestle has become a problem with other people. She just does not accept stragners at all. I thought the trianing might have changed her some...but it really didn't. I am afraid to leave her with anyone. Will let me know what yiou have discovered as far as boarding kennels. Love to you from Nestle, Molly, and Lizette

I found out the name of the boarding place...Forest Shadows Pet Resort on 1488 in Magnolia. Brandi claims they are fantastic and she highly recommends them. I have never used them. She said a lot of her co-workers use them as well since she has recommended them. Let me know it you like the place when you visit...if you do. Hope this helps. Lizette
