Need some suggestions. My two doodles love jumping in the pool but I hate the work of bathing them afterwards. Are there any products to use that would make it easy for me? I rinse them off with the…Continue

Happy Birthday Pilar! Hope your day is wonderful and filled with love, fun, celebrations and big Doodle kisses from Sophie and Rico:)
Well, our story is different than most. We got crazy puppy (Daphne) first. Then when she was almost a year old, the breeder contacted me and said that she was retiring Daphne's Mama (Lucy from breeding. They let her have 3 litters and Daphne was in her 2nd litter. We actually drove to Michigan to get her along with Daphne so when they met it was at Lucy's home in Michigan. Then we put them both in the car for the loooong drive home to Florida. We stopped at rest areas and the two got to play in the snow together. Other than that, they were both in the back seat of the car together. It took us 2 days to get home.
We have had Lucy now for about 2 months. We arrived home with her on Feb 7. At first she was a little unsure of how to behave but she has really blossomed and come out of her shell! I had wanted a playmate for Daphne and when Lucy first got here, she was not at all interested in playing. Slowly but surely, Lucy has learned how to be a regular dog and she does play everyday with Daphne. Not nearly as much or as long as Daphne would like but Lucy is 4 years old so I imagine she just doesnt have that crazy puppy energy that Daphne still has! I'm sure being a breeding dog, she probably did not get a lot of play time. She is just the sweetest little love bug ever though and it is really nice to see her being "just a dog"!
I know that none of that will help you with your two though. I say, enjoy it while you can! All too soon they will grow up and not be so crazy. Then you will miss it, I know I will!
