About Me:

I had a wonderful Labradoodle for 13 years. I have always had rescue dogs as opposed to purchasing puppies. I would love to adopt another Labradoodle that is in need of a new home. I am retired and home a lot. I'm active, healthy and live in rural setting where I hike and ride my horses.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

I had a first generation Labradoodle named TYRONE.. Best dog I've ever had, and I've had dogs my whole live - 2 & 3 at a time. . I rescued him at one year old and lost him at 14 to cancer. I now cook my dogs' food at home. No more commercial food. I have 2 more dogs - Boon, a Cocker Spaniel and AJ. a Labmix

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

I have had many wonderful, wonderful dogs but Tyrone, my Labradoodle rescue, was absolutely the best dog I've ever had. He was my heart. His intelligence, devotion, happy-go-lucky & fun-loving attitude made him the perfect partner. He accompanied me everywhere I was able to take him.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

I have horses and Tyrone was the perfect "barn dog". He accompanied me in the car whenever it was safe and appropriate for him (not in hot weather. I'm in CA). I live in mts. We hiked, as well. He was an indoor dog who was happy indoors and outdoors!

A little bit but nothing major

Who grooms your doodle(s)?

Mobile groomer came every 6 weeks
