Our Mina, ALD, at almost 13 weeks is getting the hang of potty training. We've trained her to ring the bells on the door whenever she needs to go out. The problem is that she rings them whenever she…Continue

I'm not sure what we are doing wrong. We take her out several times a day. Mostly she just lays down or picks up leaves or barks at cars or people walking by (we only have a front fenced yard).…Continue

I feel like a complete paranoid first time mom, but I am a first time mom to a DOODLE! We bring her home Sunday. Our puppy has already had her first shots with the breeder, but I'm worried about…Continue

Great! I know you will have a puppy soon. ALDs are great and very active dogs - good for a young family. I have had them all, goldendoodle, labradoodle, and ALD. The ALD is smaller (and more active) and the goldendoodle is more loving. You will find the one that is best for your family. Enjoy your search. It is so much fun finding a puppy and summer in the Bay Area is the perfect time.
Any luck in finding your new puppy? I have recommended breeders, but they are not in NorCal. Are you still primarily interested in a goldendoodle?
I called my breeder today and she does have some puppies right now. I told her you were interested in a red and she has a couple of them. I don't know how personal this posting is, but let me know if you are interested (send me a personal message) and I can give you contact information.
Just sent you a message with some info on by breeder. She has 3 male F1B GD that will be ready for homes in 3 or 4 weeks, she is in UT, but maybe you could work that out..
I am so sorry you and your family are going through this. We have an Australian labradoodle and if you are interested in an ALD, I could refer you to our breeder. I have heard there are several good goldendoodle breeders in WA, and that might be an option if you cannot find another breeder in CA. Good luck to you. I would bet you will soon find the perfect puppy.
Best wishes
So sorry to hear your news about the puppy. I, too, would change breeders. I have a wonderful goldendoodle who is six years old (look at my photos) and he is from a wonderful breeder in Washington State. I was in contact with her for two years before I got him and he was sent on an airplane with his sister who was going to another family in California. It was Memorial Day weekend and I could not get a return flight from Spokane. Although I am here in Northern California, I don't know any breeders and all of my puppies have come from out of state. However, I will be glad to refer you to my breeder in Spokane if you would like.
Rebecca ~ Looking forward to seeing photos of your new little one. Oh puppy kisses - nothing better! Welcome to Doodle Kisses.
