About Me:

I'm a 73 year old retired truck driver living in south central Pa. Three sons and three grandchildren. Only one wife however(Leeann)(chuckle) Hate winter, love summertime. Very attached to dogs but only have one.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

We have one Goldendoodle, Summer. She's not wrapped to tight but she has an awful lot of friends. Dogs, people and children all like her. She's extremely socialized and quite approachable. We had a Goldendoodle before her and could not believe his gentleness and friendliness. He had a leg removed due to cancer and eventually succumbed to it in June 2011. I, even now, get a sadness when I think of him. We found Summer in September 2011. Born 7/02/11. We previously had a Afghan/poodle(Candy). Who was laid to rest in June 1998. They've all been such great dogs.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

After our experience with Candy and frankly with her lack of shedding along with her being friendly we wanted a standard.poodle mix and as it turns out our Goldendoodles are just phenomenal.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

Take her to the park to play with other dogs. Fun to watch. We walk in the morning 1 1/2 to 3 miles but that's more for me to be mobile.

A little bit but nothing major

Who grooms your doodle(s)?

Bark of The Town, Millerstown, Pa

Favorite Doodle Products?

HER favorite is the Chuck-it ball. She has her standard toys and treats. She does like Milo's Kitchen treats now that they're made in US and have no corn or corn mill in them.
