About Me:

A resident of Frederick, Maryland, just 30 minutes from DC and Baltimore. I am a born-again, Holy Spirit filled Christian woman who loves to pray for and help others! We have had our Labradoodle for just a few months and it has been a major challenge and journey to fall in love with our puppy!

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

We have a female Labradoodle who is really one fourth Labradoodle and three fourths poodle, so she doesn't look like the normal Labradoodle. Her name is Sandie, she is just six months old, just got spade, has been enjoying PetSmart puppy classes and is a sweetie (when she's not biting)! I had been praying about getting a pet and scanned hundreds of sites and photos. I was all set to go with a wonderful, caring breeder in Lynchburg, VA, but then saw Sandie's photo on Greenfield Puppies and fell in love with her. I knew it was the worst thing to do, looking at an online site list that, but I was hooked. We rescued her from an Amish farm at 9 pounds of skin and bone and she is now just over 20 pounds and very well loved.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

I loved the look, didn't want any shedding and wanted a companion to go on walks with me and liven up our household! I would also love to train her to be a therapy dog and go visit nursing homes. Little did I know how she would change our lives!

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

Go exploring on walks, throw the ball and frisbie to her, and just sit by her to stroke behind her ear or tummy when she is sleeping. I also love teaching her new things. While she has been recovering from getting spade, I taught her to stay and come, like our trainer taught us. That was a thrill!

Nope!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?

A dog lover, breeder and small farm owner 20 minutes away.

Favorite Doodle Products?

Tennis ball, antler bone, Himalayan chew bone, soft puppy throw.
