About Me:

I am a medical illustrator working from home. My partner, Sally is an administrative assistant. We adopted a labradoodle puppy 11 years ago and since our children have grown and have families of their own, our dog, Fenway quickly became our new 'child'.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

Unfortunately, Fenway develped an osteosarcoma on his right wrist and rather than put him down we elected to have his front arm removed. Unfortunately, he died the evening after surgery and we are qute lost without him.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

From all the pictures we received from his owner, Fenway looked like a 'Disney' dog and after being his owner and friend for many years he was more than a dog; he was a 24/7 companion. He was large, 110 lbs and rode around in my Jeep wrangler after I removed the rear seat so he could sit up. Friends remarked that I looked like his chauffeur.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

fenway loved to walk and swim. The swiming was okay in fresh water ponds, but he didn't seem to mind relaxing in a dirty stream. His favorite treat was 'surfing' in the ocean. He would swim out to the breakers, turn and float - arms and legs out on the wave until it washed ashore - and then he would do it again.

A little bit but nothing major

Favorite Doodle Products?

Fenway enjoyed ANY food, especially if it came from our table. This was not something we encouraged, but since his mouth was above the level of the table top, his quickness in retreiving sticks of butter, a WHOLE rib roast, and most other human designed products was legendary.
