My husband and I are waiting for our puppy to arrive, from Arborgate Labradoodles, in Indiana. Our neighbor has one and we fell in love with it, and decided to find out more. I need a dog that is allergy friendly, so we are going with the wool coat, and just can't wait till we get him!!
What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
We had a Jack Russell Terrier, Bailey, for 10 years, and had to put him down last August, 2008. We loved him and miss him terribly, and are now ready to add a new family member, and Labradoodles were recommended highly by a couple of people we know who have them.
Where did you get your doodle(s)?
Breeder
Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
My allergies, and the fact that they are so darn cute, kid friendly....I have seven grandchildren, and it just seems suited for our personalities (my husband and mine).

Congratulations on your soon-to-be new addition to your family! How exciting!
Gaston-Cramer is an F1B (standard) wool coated Goldendoodle. He does not shed and we expect him to be quite big! LOL He's 17 weeks old and quite the flop! LOL He still thinks he's a newborn and that I should have no trouble holding him like I used to! LOL He's such a love bug!
We are very excited about training him to become a therapy dog. Our primary visitations will be at a local assisted living facility here in our town and hopefully some library work. We've had some encouraging feedback from his trainer and are hoping it'll work out. At 17 weeks young he has a long way to go yet!
Looking forward to see photos of your new family member and thanks for your sweet words about Gaston :)
