My name is Sarah Kate! My life is rather unique… I'm 24 years old, but for about 12 years now I've been living with quite a handful of rare diseases, a few of which are Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH), Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy/Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (RSD/CRPS), digestive tract paralysis, Ehlers Danlos, and mitochondrial disease. I have always been crazy about dogs... They just make my heart smile! I am so very blessed to have a sensational service dog, my Double Doodle Alice Eloise!
What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
My Alice Eloise is a Double Doodle! One of Alice Eloise's parents is a Goldendoodle, and the other is a Labradoodle. Alice Eloise is my service dog, my hero, and my best friend!
I also have a Labradoodle niece named Lulu! She is my big sister's dog. Alice Eloise and Lulu's doggy mamas are sisters, too! So they are true cousins. Our Doodles each have their own special personalities... But they are both perfectly sweet and irresistibly adorable!
Where did you get your doodle(s)?
Breeder
Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
Double Doodles are very intelligent with a naturally sweet disposition, making them well suited as service dogs.
My big sister is allergic to dogs, but Doodles don't bother her at all.
And, of course, Doodles are just so cute!
What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
We enjoy playing fetch, making friends, practicing training exercises, learning new tricks, and taking walks on nice days. Alice Eloise loves coming along to the hospital with me, where she meets all kinds of new people. Alice Eloise and I are inseparable... Every moment together is so special!
Does your doodle(s) shed?
Nope!
