Finally got our Goldendoodle!

Elly is 7 weeks old. We got her 3 days ago. I've been following Doodle Kisses for about a year now. So excited to have my own Doodle to add to Doodle Kisses!❤️

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: We finally got our Goldendoodle after wanting one for about 7 years. She is an F1 standard. Her name is Ellie. We also have a Boykin Spaniel named Birdie. We had a Golden Retriever, Daisy, but she died 5 years ago. Seems like it's been no longer than a year. I still miss her every day.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I just love the way they look! Read about them for years, got all gushy every time I saw one in person, and pinned more of them on Pinterest than I can tell you. I've been longing for that Golden Retriever personality, but not the shedding. I just think they're beautiful and cute, inside and out.

doodles give out so much love and companionship. They are not dogs who like to be left alone. That is fine with me cause I'm retired and have lots of time and affection to give to him.

I already had a puggle (passed away last Mar) and a Chihuahua who (passed away Sept) I got Turbo when he was 3 months old last Mar and he was 30 lbs. I fell in love with his baby pic and not realizing how much bigger he would be at 3 months I was shocked when he got out of the van and came charging out at me. That is how he got his name. He was shipped by van from Mo. This is the day he arrived in Pa.
