What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: We have a labradoodle named Ozzie. He was born on October 1, 2008 and we think he is the cutest being on the planet.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: We wanted a medium sized family dog as allergy friendly as possible. We thought labradoodles and goldendoodles were adorable and researched them.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Chase each other, cuddle, throw things and have him either bring them back to us or run around teasing us with them. We recently went on our first family vacation with him and he was a great hiking companion.

Maci and I have done a lot of training - she did a puppy obedience and two basic obediences, as well as her therapy training and now I have her in an intermediate obedience, which I have to admit I am sort of disappointed in - they told me it would deal with leash manners, greeting people (these are her problem areas - she gets very excited) and this will be our 4th week and they are teaching basic sit, stay, leave it, drop it, all of which she is great at. Even the instructor said she thought Maci was beyond this class. I talked to the owner prior to signing her up so I think she sent me in the wrong direction but I guess I'm okay with it because it never hurts to reinforce what she has learned but at $200.00 I kind of feel like I wasted my money. I will have to read the book you are talking about. I believe Pat has recommended it to other people. May I ask what kind of reaction you are having from Ozzie?

I know you said your husband was a jazz fanatic so is Ozzie after some jazz musician - educate me please. Why do you think you are having an allergic reaction to him - did you have anything happen when you went to visit the pups? Don't worry - I am sure he will catch on real quick as to the peeing and pooping - Maci did - they are very smart animals - just remember consistency and repetition is the name of the game. I hope we can meet him someday. Have fun and good luck with him.
